SavvyBeast and I have made one more leap into the modern world. Recently we let go of dial up and succumbed to the siren song of a cable modem. Today, another bridge was crossed when the Beast signed us up for Netflix. This is something we've resisted for a long time. We're not lazy people, after all. But getting into the car and driving to the video store, deciding on a move, waiting in line to be abused by the be-noseringed checkout person, schlepping back to the car and then driving home was not necessarily the best and most fullfilling experience.
Now, though, we visit a website in the comfort of our living room and pajamas, choose from zillions of titles and then wait for them to magically appear in our mailbox. And all for less than twenty bucks a month.
How can we have been missing out on this for so long?
