I've been walking every Tuesday and Thursday evenings with my new friends Julie and her daughter Josie. Here's Josie and I after one of these walks.
The girl is raring to go! Incidentally, you can find Josie's blog at here. You never know what she's going to be getting up. In her latest entry she's celebrating her three month birthday and tasting sushi for the first time. Go, Josie!
Yesterday was our golf outing and we had great weather for it, but my allergies were horrible! I spent most of the day on the beer cart alternating between rubbing my eyes, and passing out drinks. Also, I was cramping like a mofo and that added a whole new element of discomfort to the day. I'm so glad it's over. Now I've got a whole day's worth of work to catch up on.
Before I go, though, I've got my book group meeting tonight and the book we're discussing is The World According to Garp. I know it's a critical success and everything, but I totally hated it. Now that I've only got twenty or so pages left (of the almost 600 pages in it) I am finally starting to like the characters. Someone please tell me what I'm not getting about it!
