Grey's Anatomy Just Got Interesting

Okay, I'll admit it. I loved the first season of Grey's and watched with sadness its decline over seasons two and three. It used to be so...well, not awesome, but good. It was a good show. Pretty people pretending to be doctors saving lives and having sex and looking pretty. Simple, right?

Well, it just got interesting again. Unfortunately, it's not because of anything going on on the show, but rather the set. T. R. Knight gave an interview on Ellen's show today and confirmed that Isaiah Washington called him a "faggot." Previous reports said that he did, but in the Golden Globes pressroom Washington denied it ever happened, and then went on to tell Access Hollywood:
"There is no way I could do anything so vile, and so horrible, not only to a castmate, but to a fellow human being. It did not happen."

If this wasn't enough, Katherine Heigl heard about this and said,

"I'm going to be really honest right now, [Isaiah] needs to just not speak in public. Period...T.R. is my best friend. I will throw down for that kid."

Aaaaaand, FIGHT!

Seriously, though, this is crazy. Isaiah should apologize and get over it or else...leave the show? I mean, his options are relatively limited here. There's nothing he can say to defend the word and he can't deny it anymore, so...yeah. That's pretty much all she wrote.
