From Yahoo News:
"Four people, including a former member of Guyana's parliament, have been charged in connection with a plot to blow up New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport, U.S. officials said on Saturday.I get that there are a lot of people that think if we pull out of Iraq, the country will deteriorate into a full-on terrorist training camp and we'll be much more vulnerable than we are now.
...
The plot, which was investigated from January 2006 to the present, tapped into an international network of Muslim extremists from the United States, Guyana and Trinidad."
Here's my thing, though: at least we'd have a few more hands on deck over here if we pull out, and really, Iraq is pretty much a full-on terrorist training camp already, so...what's the difference?
