Good News & Bad News

First the good news:
Celine Dion ended her five-year run at Caesar's in Vegas last night. Maybe she'll finally get out of the country and leave us alone. Seriously, I don't understand her popularity at ALL.

Ciao, Ce. Don't let the showgirls hit you on the way out. Their aim isn't very good and it would be embarrassing for you.

And now the bad news:

Dan Fogelberg died of cancer today at the age of 56. Now, don't make fun, but Dan was a staple from my childhood. We listened to the light FMs around our house and Dan was a fixture. I had no idea he wasn't cool until I bought one of his cds when I was in college and my friends looked at me like I was insane. I always loved Leader of the Band and that horse song, Run for the Roses. I haven't listened to that cd in about ten years or so. I wonder if I'll even be able to find it.

Wish me luck, y'all. I'm going in.
