Shore To Please

Our few days of relaxation at the shore are over, and we're back to real life. The good news is that Ari and Trixie were so happy to see us that they pretty much wouldn't leave us alone all night. One of them was constantly batting at my hair or rooting against my feet or walking over me to get a better view of the window. On second thought, maybe I was just in the way. Ah, love.

Some good news: while we were away, my fabric guy called to say the fleece is in! This means Rosanne's and mp's mom's quilts are just about done, which is pretty cool. Once they're done and delivered I'm going to try my hand at something I'm calling a Crazy Baby Quilt, not because the baby in question is crazy, but because (hopefully) the quilt will be. We'll see.

In the meantime I'm up to my ears in vacation laundry and take out boxes (because we had no food in the house yesterday we had to order).

But these memories won't fade, especially not with pictures like these. What an utterly awesome time.

Beautiful pics! If MP's mom's quilt is going to be done soon that means you have to come deliver it!

Happy Birthday, my dear! And of course this means that your card will be late. That's just how I roll. (slowly.)
