From the Huffington Post:
At her last rally in Florida, Sarah Palin told the audience that Barack Obama "palled around with terrorists" adding,"I am just so fearful that this is not a man who sees America the way you and I see America." Upon hearing the Republican VP candidate's concern that Sen. Obama might be a terrorist, a voice in the crowd cried out 'Kill him!'
My first thought: I totally called this months ago.
My second thought: If they kill him we will have absolute pandemonium in this country. In one fell swoop the Republicans will get elected and tighten their hold on the use of fear for years to come, but the race tensions will explode.
My third thought: Snack time? Because really, what can I do about it except point it out?
Finally, for fun, I was trolling around on Fox News this morning looking for the "McCain Won" headline and instead found this pretty high up in the list of headlines: "Obama Admits Bumming Cigarettes on the Campaign Trail," which kind of fills me with hope. If they thought McCain had won they'd have put the headline front and center and instead, this non-story about cigarettes.
I think it's going to be a good day.
