Nitwit

I just sent this via the state senate's email system. If you live in NJ and are also disappointed, feel free to copy and paste this into a note of your own.
It was with interest that I read Sunday's article "Sweeney Has Strong Words For Christie". I know that what constituents want is almost irrelevant, but I do feel an overwhelming need to express my disappointment. If you really thought that any other outcome was a possibility, then you really are a nitwit. Worse, if you think that you'll ever be governor after the way you stripped workers of their rights, you're insane. I will never vote for you, and I don't know anyone else who will either. I won't even bring up your union ties and the double betrayal felt over that. Rather, allow me to comment on your family, specifically, your child with development disabilities. You have the means to make sure she is well taken care of for the rest of her life, and that's good. But thousands of families don't have your resources and depend on state workers to make sure that their children are taken care of. These state workers - the actual workers, not the upper echelons of double-pensions and take-home cars - make very little. And you abandoned them. If your goal was to alienate and abuse people who can little afford it, well done. Nitwit is too nice a word for you.
I know it won't matter, but he deserves for all of us to keep calling him a nitwit until he gets that we're pissed off.

Loved it! Nitwit is the perfect term for Sweeney. I did not know that about his daughter; you used it well to make a strong point.
