I picked up 175 wishes from the little kids at the Newton Street School in downtown Newark. For some of these kids ours are the only gifts they'll get this holiday season. More than that, though, the ones that really break my heart are the kids who put clothes on their wish lists because they need new pants or shirts or shoes or a coat and no one else is going to buy them.
Think about that. Remember what it was like when you were seven and putting your Christmas list together? Would it ever have occurred to you put clothes on it? These kids did.

Pretty awesome, right? How jealous are you that I get to be the one to coordinate an effort like this? All I can say is you're missing out. I'm a lucky lady.
